There’s something deeply human running through “Can I Music?”, despite its distorted edges and acid-laced eccentricities. The Liquid Dude crafts each track like a fragment of a personal journal—one written in synth lines, broken drum patterns and half-remembered club echoes.

“Skip This” feels like the moment before dawn when everything is quiet enough to hear your own thoughts reverberate. Then “Nipponacidfunk” and “Shakyshaky” drag the listener back into the kinetic chaos of nightlife—the excitement, the confusion, the wild unpredictability of sound shaping your body.

But it’s in “Indigestion” and “The Old Days” where the emotional weight surfaces. Their melancholic chords and soft rhythmic elasticity evoke a strange longing for moments that were never fully understood while they were happening.

The album becomes a portrait of someone who stepped away from a scene that once defined them, only to rebuild it from broken memories. Not nostalgic—honest. And that honesty is what makes “Can I Music?” resonate long after the music fades.
