Sherwøød Drops ‘Wait 4 U Again’ Ahead Of Highly Anticipated Breakthrough EP

UK artist Sherwøød returns with "Wait 4 U Again," showcasing his genre-crossing sound as an innovative and refreshing take on contemporary music. His contemplative artistry has quickly become a staple in the London scene, with a run of live performances, following the success of his recent standout releases "Pride" and "Dopamine."

Wait 4 U Again is a profound and introspective song, fluidly blending elements of R&B and contemporary pop, driven by a slow-to-mid tempo groove and a dreamy yet melancholic atmosphere. Sherwood Comments “I was stuck, high on the feelings of longing for the relationship I thought we would have. I tried to emulate the desperation I felt in the last days before I realised that this faux romantic pursuit is nothing but that. This song is that moment, frozen in time.”

A seasoned artist in his craft, Sherwood’s musical journey began at an early age, taking in multiple instruments including cello, piano, bass, and guitar. After discovering songwriting and production at Buck’s Rock Performing Arts Camp, Sherwood further refined his artistry, blending layered electronic sounds with Indie-rock, Hip-Hop, and R&B. As he prepares to drop his self-titled EP, Sherwøød is set for a milestone feature at O2 Academy Islington on April 3rd, marking a new chapter in his meteoric rise. With a feature at Far East Festival on May 31st recently announced, proving Sherwøød to be a pivotal artist to watch as his name becomes synonymous with sonic exploration and exciting performances.
