With a 25-year pedigree in dance music spanning DJing, event promotion, and production, Wzl_ brings his signature no-nonsense energy to the forefront with the Beat Sneaker EP, landing on Fisted Punk this April 21st. This three-track package delivers a potent fusion of bass-heavy breakbeat and driving grooves, capturing the raw essence of club culture while maintaining an infectious, unpretentious spirit.

Drawing inspiration from the boundary-pushing legacy of Fingerlickin' Records, Plump DJs, Krafty Kuts, and WBBL, Wzl_ injects his own modernized, party-fueled spin into the mix. Title track "Beat Sneaker" is a kinetic workout with a unique bassline and crisp percussive hits, while "Real Stupid" leans into playful yet heavyweight territory, embodying Wzl_’s ethos of tension, energy, and release. Rounding out the EP, "Bring Noise" does exactly as promised—commanding peak-time destruction with pure, unrelenting vibes.

Already turning heads in the scene, the release has earned high praise from tastemakers: "Loving the bounciness of these bass-heavy hitters. Absolute no-nonsense peak-time party fodder," says Jonny Strinati of Splank Records. Meanwhile, Alexander Sullivan (Zero) of Streetwise Records calls them "bonkers—really straight to the point and banging!" Expect dancefloors to shake when this one lands.
