Kris Vango and DV/RF, an album on layers of astral cosmic psyche’s (Ψ) beyond objectified scientific discovery

With DV/RF, Australian–Berlin artist Kris Vango continues building one of the most distinctive conceptual worlds in contemporary electronic music. Structured as nine standalone EPs, the project documents the mythology of the dwarf planets while capturing a deeply personal chapter of Vango’s life. Created in 2024 while caring for his father — who passed in early 2025 — the music is steeped in themes of transition, dissolution, and cosmic fragility. Each release reflects on both astronomical narratives and psychological shadows, revealing the intersection of scientific identity (Φ) and astral psyche (Ψ). DV/RF ultimately becomes a sonic archive of how endings reshape us. The series will conclude with the Makemake EP, arriving January 14, 2026.
