Actualizado: 8 jul

Jon Delerious, the maestro of funk, returns to Nordic Trax with a scorching new EP! This marks his first solo release for the label since 2021’s "Can’t Hold Back," and the Canadian producer does not disappoint with a four-track collection designed for the dancefloor.

The EP kicks off with "Virtual Love," a bumpy, acid-funk track that embodies the West Coast house vibe, sure to please fans of LawnChair Generals and Siesta Records. Following this is "Soul Clap Revisited," a mid-tempo gem with a breezy, summertime feel. It’s an instant classic that invites listeners to relax and let the groove take over.

On the title track, "Deepest Hour," Jon revisits his deep house roots with a dub-infused journey. This track is an understated dancefloor groover that pulls you into its depths. The EP wraps up with "Fever Crystal," where Jon explores classic West Coast house with a rave twist, delivering a dubbed-out adventure over pounding beats.

Hailing from Calgary, Jon Delerious is a staple of the Western Canadian music scene. His 2018 release "Let’s Work" [NT094] became his best-selling record on the label after two decades in the industry. The title track reached the deep house Top 20 on Beatport and Traxsource, gaining widespread support from heavyweights like Groove Armada, Nick Warren, Kyodai, Jamie Trench, Pawas, Rob Da Bank, Kid Enigma, The Revenge, Giom, and Danny Tenaglia.

In addition to his releases on various respected labels, Jon’s recent efforts for NT include a killer collaboration with UK producer Finest Wear ("To The Bounce," NT121) and a stellar remix for newcomer Glennny ("Now You Know," NT126).

In summary, Jon Delerious’s new EP is a vibrant and eclectic showcase of his ability to create beats that capture the essence of West Coast house, while offering a fresh and engaging experience for the dancefloor.
