For the final instalment of his Live In series, John Digweed celebrates the end of a twelve-year journey with an incredible 5 x CD set from Stereo Montreal and an extra special competition giveaway.

After twelve years of capturing the essence of underground club culture from some of his favourite music venues across the globe, John Digweed is now set to release the final chapter in his iconic 'Live In' series. The thirteenth and final edition in the fabled run, ‘Live In: Stereo’ marks the end of an era for the much loved concept, and culminates in a masterful recording of John’s unforgettable 10-hour marathon set from the legendary Montreal nightclub.

In celebration of the series' conclusion, which drops on October 18, John has also announced an extra special competition to mark the occasion, with his Zoom H4n Pro Four Track Recorder – the device used to capture the majority of his ‘Live In’ recordings to date – given away as the grand prize. Details on how to enter the competition are now available here providing fans with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win a unique piece of electronic music memorabilia.

The ‘Live In’ series – which began in 2012 with ‘Live In: Cordoba’ – has become something of a passion project for the Bedrock label boss over the past twelve years. Each instalment has offered a rare and intimate glimpse into one of Digweed's most cherished live performances, showcasing his ability to create truly immersive musical journeys that transcend the typical DJ set. The series has not only documented the evolution of underground electronic music over the past decade, it has also set a benchmark for live recordings in the genre, leaving an indelible mark on fans, peers and aspiring artists alike. With its global reach, the series has solidified Digweed’s reputation as one of the most innovative and respected figures in electronic music.

Reflecting on the momentous finale, John Digweed shared:

"So here we are. After 12 years, this will be the last part of the 'Live In' series. It's been an incredible experience to showcase the live essence of my sets at some of the best clubs and parties in the world. I’m grateful to the fans who appreciate the art of DJing and have supported me throughout this journey."

‘Live In: Stereo’ is a fitting finale, recorded at a venue that Digweed considers a second home. Stereo Montreal, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, is renowned for its unparalleled sound system, sprung wooden dance floor and the dedication of its clued-up crowd.

"For the final 'Live In' mix, I couldn’t think of a better venue to end the series," Digweed said. "Stereo is a place where the music just flows out of me—it’s the perfect ending to this journey. I’ve had so many incredible nights at Stereo and always look forward to returning. This final 'Live In' album from Stereo Montreal is a celebration of everything that makes this club so special. I hope you enjoy this last chapter as much as I enjoyed creating it."

The set, recorded during a marathon session in May 2024, captures Digweed’s journey that started from 4 AM at Stereo Montreal. As always, Stereo’s owner, Tommy, ensured that the sound system delivered impeccable clarity, providing the ideal environment for Digweed to create a night of pure musical magic.

The final ‘Live In’ chapter is released as a collector’s 5x CD compilation – also available as a 5x vinyl package – offering fans the complete experience of this extraordinary set, meticulously crafted to capture the energy and emotion of the night.

Released on October 18, ‘Live In: Stereo’ will be available to stream online, as well as to purchase on CD and Vinyl:
