After establishing itself in 2024, MINITEL charges into 2025 with an arresting split EP from CLOSE PROXIMITY and Frankfurt’s MARUWA, showcasing deep progressive vision and floor-focused energy.

CLOSE PROXIMITY, the duo of Frank Brady and Demack, surfaced in late 2024 with a mission to fuse emotional resonance with the timeless sounds of early house, techno, and trance. Their debut delivers a powerful sense of motion and memory.

“Pure Ascendance” captures the breezy essence of Balearic progressive house, driven by a pulsating groove, lush harmonic layers, and bright piano stabs. Its soaring vocal elements evoke late-summer open-air moments.

With “Acid is My DNA,” they pivot toward late-night trance euphoria—arpeggiated synths, acid flashes, and a climactic payoff that’s built for sunrise settings.

MARUWA brings her edge to the remix of “Pure Ascendance,” injecting it with pounding percussion, immersive dub space, and tribal urgency. It’s a rework that dials up the intensity while honoring the original’s essence.
