Beartrax presents Opaque

Melodize kicks off another cycle with its 18th release, and label founder Beartrax is at the helm with two striking originals and two bold remixes. “Opaque” opens the EP on a cinematic note—violin melodies swirl over a deep, emotional groove, creating a soundscape that’s as reflective as it is danceable. “Sanctity” digs even deeper, its subdued energy and melodic restraint pulling the listener into a meditative space.

Massimiliano Pagliara’s remix of “Opaque” gives it a bit more edge, adding tight basslines and analog textures that lend a nostalgic lift. On the flip side, Eliott Litrowski’s remix of “Sanctity” brings out its wild side—fusing elements of electro, indie dance, and hypnotic synth work for a remix that’s wonderfully weird and deeply groovy.
